The Doncaster One Direction star posted the photo of a grey-haired man dropping his turquoise trousers to his 13 million followers on Instagram with the caption "Only in Donny."

The photo appears to be taken in the departures area on the landside at Robin Hood and shows the man exposing a pair of blue pants or trousers beneath his top trousers.

The man's pose mirrors a similar one adopted by Louis in 2010.

With his back to the camera, the man, also sporting a black t-shirt on top of a lighter coloured long-sleeve top, is surrounded by carrier bags, discarded clothes, a bright orange holdall and a bottle of Mountain Dew energy drink.

It is not clear when the photo was taken, but the singer posted it on Instagram earlier this week and it has already been liked and shared more than 720,000 times by his fans around the globe.

The singer has been spending time in Doncaster and was recently spotted in several locations around the town for a video shoot.

However, Louis himself has form for dropping his own trousers in public.

The 25-year-old was cheekily snapped dropping his jeans to Doncaster photographer Liz Mockler outside the town's Vue Cinema during a visit there with friends in 2010.
