Isle residents have been asked to nominate a person who has inspired them over the past year to receive awards to be made in memory of the late Alexander
Strong of Epworth.
Nominations are invited for the new Pride of the Isle awards, to celebrate special and amazing people, and raise money for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
Men, women or children can be nominated for awards in different categories.
Forms have been delivered through letterboxes and when complete should be returned to Sunspot hair and tanning salons at Epworth and Haxey.
Anna Verrico will be posthumously presented with the most inspirational person award.
The evening will be held at Epworth Leisure Centre on January 25.
Entertainment will be provided by The Torn.
The event is a black tie dinner, tickets are £30. All proceeds to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice . Nominations are for inspirational people perhaps for
example, someone who has bravely nursed someone through and illness. Nominees can be based in South Yorkshire or Lincolnshire.
