The octogenarian’s birthday was organised by daughter Heather Wall and attended by more than 90 of Barbara’s close family and friends. Barbara said she chose to donate to the hospice as it was such an important local charity, that has provided excellent care for close friends and added: “I’d like to say thank you to everyone who came to my party for their generous donations, I really appreciate it.”
