North Lincolnshire Council needs your views for transport survey

PEOPLE in the Isle are invited to give their views on a council review of the area’s council-subsidised transport services.

The aim of the review is to put the needs of passengers and communities at the heart of service provision.

It will also look at improving accessibility and value for money.

North Lincolnshire Council has opened three separate consultations as part of the review and these include:

* A general consultation with members of the public.

* A consultation with interest groups with transport needs.

* A consultation with town and parish Councils and voluntary organisations.

All three consultations will run until the end of October. People can make comments on the general consultation form on the council’s website,

There will also be a series of meetings with special interest and voluntary groups and town and parish councils.

Councillor Nigel Sherwood, cabinet member for Highways and Neighbourhoods at North Lincolnshire Council, said: “I urge anyone with an interest in the area’s transport to take part in the consultation and make their views known.

“Your comments will help shape passenger transport services for years to come.

“The council is particularly interested in developing and investing in community led projects.

“We look forward to hearing from volunteers who are interested in helping provide transport for their local community.”
