The meeting, which is open to members of the public to observe, will hear reports about the progress of specific initiatives being led by the CCG as well as information about finance and performance. Karen Jackson, Chief Executive of Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust, will be giving an update on Healthy Lives, Healthy Futures in her capacity as Lead Accountable Officer for the programme. There will also be an update on the progress of the Better Care Plan.

Dr Margaret Sanderson, Chair of the CCG, said: “Governing Body meetings are an opportunity for local people to come along and find out about what’s going on in their local NHS and hear about how we’re improving care for patients.

“We have ‘transparency’ as one of our core values, and we believe it’s important that people have the chance to hear our discussions and observe how decisions are made about the health services they access.”

Members of the public are warmly invited to attend and, during a dedicated public questions time, there is an opportunity for people to put forward a question to the Governing Body members which is linked to the agenda or work of the CCG.

The agenda and relevant papers will be available to view on the CCG web site the week preceding the meeting. Papers can be accessed here www.northlincolnshireccg.nhs.uk/index.php?id=our-meetings
