Nicola took on the franchise to allow her to spend time with her own children aged five and two. She said: “No other company combines swimming and life-saving in the way we do. Because classes revolve around bonding and play, children don’t realise they’re learning to swim and are acquiring a skill that could save their lives.”

A recruitment open evening takes place in Conference Room Two at Doncaster Deaf School on March 30 from 7pm. Puddle Ducks will also celebrate at Epworth Pool on April 3, to swim 2K and raise funds for Isle charity Team Verrico. Visit
