New photos show extent of damage following huge Doncaster house fire

The extent of the damage from a fire which closed one of Doncaster’s busiest roads has been revealed in new photos.

Balby Road was closed yesterday afternoon and overnight after fire broke out in a row of four houses at around 2.30pm.

Investigations into the blaze, which started in the roof of one of the properties overlooking Westfield Park, are ongoing.

These photos, taken by local resident Terry Hill this morning, show the severe damage the flames caused to the terrace near to Carr View Avenue.
