New College Doncaster will provide post-16 learning options for young people from across the borough and is intended as a dynamic centre for education at that level, supporting achievement, aspiration and progression.

Mr Riley added: “September 2017 might seem a long way away but believe me, it isn’t. We’ll be starting our recruitment drive later on this year and are very pleased to be creating 40 new posts in Doncaster. As the college grows there are plans to create more jobs.”

Parents of year 10 students now considering their sixth form education are encouraged to visit the NewCollege Doncaster website and register their interest in being kept informed about the 32 A-levels and vocational courses which will be on offer.
