Health visitors and nursery nurses who work for Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) are running five week sessions for mums-to-be, who can go along with their partner or a family member, to find out about the support available to them before and after the birth. The sessions are being held at venues across the borough.

The sessions are called the Solihull Antenatal Approach and look after emotional as well as physical health of the mum and baby.

Paula Cafferty, RDaSH Health Visitor, said: “If you’re pregnant why not come along to one of our groups. Not only will attending help you to prepare for the birth of your little one, you will also make new friends.”

Anyone interested in attending the sessions should call 01302 566776 for more information.
