National competition win for dance group

A Doncaster dance school has scooped top spot in a national X-Factor style competition judged by industry experts.

DN12 win top spot at TeenStar competition

The DN12 group from SV Dance Studios in Conisbrough were crowned overall winners in the dance category of The TeenStar competition.

The TeenStar competition is the UK’s biggest search for teenage and pre-teen singing and dance act with around 10,000 acts taking part.

Proud parent Lorraine Robinson said: “The children from this amazing school all work hard, but the girls from DN12 give so much of their time and have such massive commitment to the team and each other that they deserve to be recognised for it, They danced amazingly, absolutely smashed it.

“I would say they are the most successful street dance school in the area - and are now national winners of Teenstar 2018!”

The Doncaster dancers win a national publicity package, photo shoot from one of the uk’s top photographers and a properly produced video as part of their prize.

As well as winning TeenStar, the dance group competed in Disneyland Paris in March earlier this year with DN12 winning the Dance Camp top spot in the street dance competition. After scooping the top spot the group performed on stage in park in front of the public,
