Hide AdMD of Food AWARE and Mexborough Foodbank Manager, Sean Gibbons, said: "I would like to personally thank Abdul and the Ilhaam Connected Network for their very generous food donation recently (enough to feed well over 50 families).
'This has really helped us to re-stock our supplies at Mexborough Foodbank as demand for food parcels continues largely due to new Universal Credit claims and associated delays.
He added "We look forward to working more closely with the Ilhaam Connected Network and receiving more food donations to Mexborough Foodbank plus how we can collaborate in other food projects in Rotherham and Doncaster.'
Ilhaam has brought the Muslim community together and responded by collecting urgently needed food for the people of Mexborough.
