Musical treat to aid charity

A SPRING charity concert is to take place at Wath this Saturday,

‘Music for a Spring Evening’ will include playing by organist Carey Williams, violinist Robert White and bass singer Brian Pullman, along with a cellist, a flautist and a trumpeter.

The venue will be Wath Trinity Methodist Church, with all proceeds to benefit the Rotherham and Dearne Valley Circuit Project for the year, which is to fund a trip overseas within the Lighthouse project for Romania.

Organiser Michael Haywood of West Melton said the church was keen to get involved in helping to raise the necessary cash for volunteers.

The concert starts at 7.15pm with £5 entry on the door.
