A motorist was taken to hospital after a car crash in a Doncaster suburb shortly before the morning rush hour.

An ambulance was sent to the scene of the collision, which happened at the junction of Church Lane and Cantley Lane, in Cantley, at 7.10am, yesterday (Monday) morning, after the collision was reported to emergency services.
A spokesman for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service described the incident as a two vehicle road traffic collision.
She added: “The patient was taken by ambulance to the Doncaster Royal Infirmary.”
