A motorist abandoned a broken down car on the M1 near Sheffield because they 'had somewhere to be'.
The vehicle was abandoned in lane one of the southbound carriageway between junctions 34 and 35.
It caused delays for motorists heading towards Meadowhall.
The vehicle was recovered and taken to a compound.
Highways England tweeted: "Broken down car in lane one.
"The owner abandoned it telling us they had just left it there as they had somewhere to be."
They added: "The owner will collect the bill for this in order to get the vehicle back."
