Missing family-of-nine may be in Sheffield or Rotherham

Police are searching for seven children and their parents who have been reported missing from home and are thought to be in Sheffield or Rotherham.

Adriana Tulejova, aged 28 and her partner Imrich Bartek, also 28, have disappeared from Stoke-on-Trent with their children and police officers trying to trace family said they there are ‘concerned’ for their welfare.

The missing children are 10-year-old Imrich Bartek, Eva Bartekova, nine, Domink Bartek, seven, Alex Bartek, five, Janka Bartekova, four, Adrian Bartek, two and 18 month-old Patrick Bartek.

Adriana is white, about 5ft 2ins tall, with a dark complexion and very long black hair.

When last seen she was wearing jogging bottoms, trainers, a tracksuit top and gold, hooped earrings.

Police have released photographs of six of the missing children.

Detective Chief Inspector Ricky Fields, of Staffordshire Police, said: “Our concerns for this family grow as the days go by.

“One of the children, two-year-old Adrian has disabilities and may need care.

“We are aware they have connections with the Rotherham and Sheffield areas and believe they may have travelled there.

“We are keen to locate them all as soon as possible and would appreciate the public’s help.”
