MONEY, money, money!
The cash has certainly been rolling in for our fantastic Mile of Coins campaign - and leading the way was big-hearted youngster Cory Fletcher.
For the generous four-year-old from Dunsville donated the contents of his money box to the appeal, currently gathering pace in the Frenchgate Centre.
Cory was joined by Doncaster Central MP Rosie Winterton in the shopping centre where members of Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust are urging shoppers to donate their loose change to swell our appeal funds.
And late on Tuesday the total stood at £1,487 - smashing through the target and equating to two miles worth of 2p coins.
It doesn’t matter if its 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 or £2 coins - every little helps - and you can still give.
The DCDT team will be in the centre every day up until Saturday.
One shopper even handed over a Sir Winston Churchill commemorative crown from 1965 to help the appeal - and although the coins are pretty common and only valued at a few pounds, organisers will take any coins whatsoever to help funds.
