Meet Principal of second Sheffield UTC at sports science event

Meet the new Principal of Sheffield's second University Technical College at an event this month.

The £10 million UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park campus on Attercliffe Common will specialise in healthcare and sports sciences, and computing from September.

Sarah Clark, the newly appointed Principal, will meet the public at a sports science event on April 26 from 6pm to 7.30pm at the Centre for Sports Engineering Research, Sheffield Hallam University Collegiate Campus on Collegiate Crescent.

The sports science specialism leads to careers working as an elite athlete and becoming a sports scientist or personal trainer.

Ms Clark said: “Sheffield’s second UTC is an exciting new facility that is building on the success of the city’s first one with strong employer backing for the curriculum. Students will benefit from a well rounded education, completing high quality technical as well as academic qualifications that lead to jobs or university.”
