Two masked men armed with a knife broke into a South Yorkshire house and demanded cash in a weekend raid.
They struck at a house in Redlands Crescent, Thorne, after pulling up in a black BMW saloon.
Detective Sergeant Debra Renwick, of South Yorkshire Police, said: “The men then threatened two people inside the house and made demands for cash.
"One of the men is said to have been carrying a knife, although thankfully no one was injured during the incident.
“They left the house empty-handed and we are keen to hear from anyone who has any information about this incident and, in particular, anyone who can help us trace the movements of the car prior to the incident.”
