Man found with head injury after garden attack

Police were called shortly before midnight last night (Wednesday March 2) reporting that a man had been found lying in gardens with a head injury.

The man is between 35-40 years old, white, approximately 5’ 8” tall, wearing a black leather jacket, black trousers and white trainers.

How he came by his injuries has not yet been established. He was discovered in the Memorial Gardens in the Frances Street area of Scunthorpe.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing for anyone who saw this man in the Memorial Gardens area last night or witnessed anything that would help the police with their enquiries to contact Humberside Police using the non-emergency number 101, quoting log 706 of 02/03/2016.
