Man, aged 84, dies after collision near Doncaster

An 84-year-old man has died after a collision between a lorry and a car on the outskirts of Doncaster.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to the incident in Styrrup Road B6463 between Oldcotes and Styrrup on Tuesday at around 10am.

Police and an ambulance crew rushed to the scene but the elderly man was pronounced dead.

Any witnesses are urged to contact police on 101.
