Kind-hearted patients and staff at a Doncaster day centre are collecting Easter eggs for ill children.
The Solar Centre, which is run by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), is collecting Easter eggs, which will be donated to children being cared for by Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
It is hoped the appeal will help to lift the spirits of the brave children.
Staff nurse Chris Tomes said: “Our service users are always keen to help with a good cause so we decided to collect Easter eggs for children who will be hospitalised over the holidays, to help cheer them up.”
The Solar Centre provides a wide range of activities for adults with learning disabilities and associated physical and sensory needs.
The centre is appealing for readers to help the Easter egg appeal.
If you would like to help the appeal by donating an Easter egg, please ring Chris Tomes on 01302 796179 before Wednesday, April 4, to find out how to help.
