Magazine recalled due to free gift danger

Copies of 110% Gaming Issue #18 have been recalled due to a problem with the cover mount snap-band gift.

According to publisher DC Thomson, in a small number of cases the plastic covering of the snap-band appears to have become separated from the inner of the product, resulting in exposed metal.

The company say that the product has been thoroughly tested and found compliant with all relevant legislation.

However, the product is being recalled as a precautionary measure.

Any consumer who has purchased issue 18 of 110% Gaming and are in possession of the snap-band is advised to remove the product from reach of children.

Snap-bands from issue #18 can be returned by requesting a pre-paid, stamped addressed envelope from DC Thomson. The publisher will then issue an alternative cover mount gift.
