Police are currently searching for two men in a Doncaster village who fled the scene when officers attempted to apprehend them.

A police spokesman has confirmed that officers were called out to Oldfield Lane, Stainforth at around 4.26pm this afternoon after receiving reports that two men were using a 'suspicious vehicle' in the area.

The men fled the scene after officers attempted to apprehend them.

Officers are currently searching for the two men and a police helicopter has been deployed in pursuit of them.
