Lending a helping hand
Young people aged 14 to 24 gathered at Balby Carr Community Academy to meet with business representatives from a range of industries to learn about opportunities available to them.
The was the third event of its kind hosted by Doncaster Chamber and the Your Future organisation, following similar events at Armthorpe Academy and Danum Academy.

Andy Cope, head teacher at Armthorpe Academy, said: “I have heard nothing but positive feedback from students and staff, about the helpful and very informative manner in which they were spoken to by all of the exhibitors.
“In particular, I’ve been delighted by the way in which younger students responded.
“If any reminder was needed, this in itself convinces me that the sooner we can get young people thinking about their future career aspirations, the better.”
