Large procession expected due to traveller funeral at Doncaster Minster today

Motorists should be aware there may be some traffic tailbacks and delays today as a traveller funeral takes place.

The funeral is for John Taylor who is the member of a very large travelling community.

The family will be getting picked up from the Earl of Doncaster later this morning from where the cortege will then travel to St George’s Minster in the town centre for the 12.30pm service, before continuing on to Rose Hill Crematorium.
