Kitchen, car and flat fire in Doncaster over the weekend

Firefighters were called out to two separate incidents in Doncaster over the weekend.

The first was at 1.05am on Saturday morning to a car which has beens deliberately set on fire on Broxholme Lane in Wheatley.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident and left at 1.40am.

Two fire crews, also from Doncaster station, attended an accidental fire at a premise on Balmoral Road at Townfields at 12.15pm on Saturday.

The fire involved a tumble dryer in the kitchen, and the crews were there for 45 minutes.

Firefighters from Thorne station were called out to an accidental flat fire at 9.45pm on Fieldside in Thorne last night. The fire involved a pan left on the stove. Officers left the scene at 10.05pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 10.05pm on Sunday night at Evans Court in Armthorpe. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident and were there until 11.50pm.
