Joy for DIY fans as new Mexborough Screwfix opens

Hundreds of DIY enthusiasts flocked to the opening of a new Screwfix store in Rowms Lane, Mexborough.

The outlet has created 11 new jobs and opened in early February.

Store manager Mark Field said: “Many of our customers already shopped with us at our Rotherham and Barnsley stores and are delighted to see us here, as they no longer have to travel so far.”
