Jo takes on environmental role in Diocese of Sheffield
A new environmental adviser has been appointed to the Diocese of Sheffield.
Jo Chamberlain has taken on the role and replaces Michael Bayley, who held the position for the last few years.
Her role will involve offering advice to the Bishop of Sheffield Steven Croft and his team on environmental issues and will be part of the board of faith and justice.
She will also be tasked with encouraging clergy and congregations to incorporate environmental issues into the life of the church, in their preaching, worship and role in the wider community.
The mum-of-two, who is a member of All Saints Church in Ecclesall, said she is excited to be taking on the role and looking forward to “acting together to make a tangible positive difference.”
