New details have been released about Jeremy Clarkson’s return to the public eye as part of a world tour visiting Sheffield.
Clarkson, who is originally from Doncaster, was sacked from Top Gear following a fracas with producer Oisin Tymon.
A series of Top Gear Live shows have now been rebranded as Clarkson, Hammond & May Live and will be taking place at Sheffield Motorpoint Arena between June 5 and 7.
A spokesman for the arena show, which will not be using clips from Top Gear or performances from The Stig, said highlights will include the world’s largest ‘Cage of Death’, where seven motorcyclists use centrifugal force to circle the inside of a giant globe and a driving sequence featuring two custom built BMW M3s covered in over 600 metres of LED lighting.
Creative Director Rowland French said: “The three presenters have been working incredibly hard to make sure it’s better than ever before, and I’m certainly looking forward to seeing them back doing what they do best.
“If you love the three boys, then this is the only place to see them.”
