BUDDING bakers were all floured up when they took part in a super Saturday baking bonanza.
Youngsters aged five and under helped with making and decorating cakes as part of the free sessions at Misterton Fire Station.
SureStart admin officer Nicola Needham said: “The kids had a great time decorating cakes and biscuits - and eating them.
“By the end of the session we had two covered head-to-toe in flour.
“There are lots of other activities including colouring and model dinosaurs and a baby area for the smaller ones.”
The Super Saturday sessions are held on the last Saturday of every month, between 10am and noon at the fire station in Fox covert Lane.
The next session is a Spooky Super Saturday Halloween, with optional fancy dress.
The Misterton Sure Start centre on the High Street holds stay and play sessions on Wednesdays from 1pm to 3pm. Call the team on 01427 892500.
