Isle’s young people to ‘take over’ key job roles next month

For the past four years the council has organised Takeover Week, a local response to the national ‘Takeover Challenge’ to give young people chance to experience the world of work and make their voices heard. Opportunities include working with Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, or the Scunthorpe Samaritans’ to see how helplines and written word services work, shadowing the cabinet member for Children’s Services, or being a ranger for a day at Normanby Hall.
