Crowle & Ealand Heritage Society is appealing for help in pulling together information on soldiers from the two villages who served in the First World War.
Historian Paul Connel will give a talk at the group’s meeting in November about Isle men who gave their lives for their country.
But he is appealing for people to come forward with more information about soldiers who served in the conflict which he could use in his presentation.
The society would also like to use the information and any artefacts to form the centrepiece of an exhibition sometime next year.
Anyone who can help is asked to ring society chairman Angus Townley on 01724 711191 or email firstname.lastname@example.org address.
