Isle MP overwhelmed with responses to survey
Isle MP Andrew Percy has revealed the extent of the poor mobile phone coverage across his constituency.
Results from a survey he carried out show 66 percent of residents either had no call coverage or reported issues, which increased to 80 percent when residents were asked about 3G or 4G Internet coverage. He is pictured with Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Sajid Javid, who earlier this year struck a deal with phone companies worth £5bn for better coverage. Mr Percy said: “My office have been overwhelmed with the volume of survey responses. I plan to take these results to each of the networks to demand that we get our fair share of the £5bn investment they have committed to nationally.”
