Isle meat thief lands himself in court
Karl Mendrek, aged 21, of Hawthorn Way, Althorpe, appeared before North Lincolnshire Magistrates Court charged with possession of amphetamine on April 4 in Scunthorpe.
He pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £150 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
* Also up before magistrates was David Mychajluk, aged 39, of Chesswick Avenue, Keadby, charged with stealing five joints of meat from Asda on February 14.
He pleaded guilty and received a 12-month conditional discharge, £40 compensation and £85 costs.
