Last year, North Lincolnshire Homes’ established ongo; a partnership set up to offer new services for people in North Lincolnshire, from training and employment support, to commercial services, including ongo locksmiths and a local roofing business.

Profit generated through the partnership is reinvested directly into North Lincolnshire communities, helping to build more much needed new and affordable homes.

Last year also saw Scunthorpe-based Crosby Employment Bureau join ongo, strengthening what the group gives back to the people of North Lincolnshire, through employment and training opportunities.

Andy Orrey, Chief Executive, said: “NLH has seen a tremendously busy eight years and our vision of creating and sustaining truly vibrant communities is really coming to the fore. NLH, as part of ongo, will continue to develop not only by raising income to create more great affordable housing, but to go a step further to continue to create opportunities for people in the community. Watch this space!”
