A CONSULTATION is taking place over the possible withdrawal of two bus services which operate across the Isle.
Stagecoach East Midlands is proposing to scrap the 90 service which runs on an hourly basis via Brigg, Ashby, Scunthorpe and Crowle.
It is understood that another transport company, Sweyne Coaches, provides an alternative weekday service - but to a less frequent timetable.
The company is also looking to withdraw the 398 route which is a weekly shopper service running every Tuesday between Belton and Gainsborough.
Stagecoach propose to withdraw both services for the week beginning Monday, April 2, but it is taking part in a consultation with North Lincolnshire Council.
