The list of most loved and least loved branches of the chicken chain have been revealed by the Daily Mirror - and Doncaster is one of the best of the firm's 308 outlets, according to the figures.

The newspaper ranked each one by the average number of stars they had received and then by the total number of reviews submitted.

So if two restaurants had each received 5 stars the one with the larger number of reviews would take precedence based on the fact that it gets increasingly harder to keep up a perfect score the more reviews you receive.

Nando's in Boldon - just south of Newcastle in North East England - is one of only two branches of the wildly popular chicken restaurant to have received an average of 4.5 stars out of a possible 5.

And the Doncaster branch at Lakeside, which opened last year, took second spot in the rundown.
