The search is on to find a lucky Doncaster person sitting on an unclaimed £132,000 lottery windfall.
The whopping prize for a Euromillions draw earlier this month has not been claimed - but the winning ticket was bought in Doncaster.
The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket, who matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number in the EuroMillions draw on 9 September.
The winning EuroMillions numbers on that date were 8, 15, 19, 24, 35 and the Lucky Star numbers were 8 and 10. The lucky ticket-holder has until Sunday 8 March, 2015 to claim their prize worth £132,973.20.
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline, the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life. We’re urging everyone who bought a EuroMillions ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.”
“To help jog EuroMillions players’ memories about what was happening around the time of the draw in question, the first round of UEFA European Championship Qualifying matches were being played. England travelled to Switzerland on September 8 in what was, on paper at least, the team’s hardest test in an otherwise seemingly straightforward qualifying group. The Three Lions gained all three points with an important 2-0 win.”
Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
