Hundreds mourn Boxing Day collision victim Mandy Deere at Doncaster funeral

Hundreds turned out today in a Doncaster village to mourn Mandy Deere, killed in a tragic road incident on Boxing Day.

Mrs Deere, aged 54. was one of three pedestrians who lost their lives when a car collided with them in December in Sutton Road, Askern.

The community gathered today for her funeral at St Peter’s Church, Askern, to join her husband, John, at the service to pay their last respects. Mr Deere was seriously injured in the same collision.

The funerals of Andrew Tomlinson, 48, and Faye Tomlinson, 54, who also died in the collision, have already taken place at the same church.
