Humberside Police holds public meetings to discuss how it is changing

The meetings will be hosted by a panel including a Chief Officer, a representative from the Office of The Police and Crime Commissioner, local police commanders and community officers.

A presentation explaining the Force’s new operating model will be delivered and the public will have the chance to quiz senior officers on the changes.

The meetings will take place at:

•Oct 28 The Studio, John Leggott College, Scunthorpe – DN17 1DS (1830-2030)

•Nov 4 The Courtyard, Goole – DN14 6AE (1900-2100)

•Nov 13 Grimsby Town Hall – DN31 1HU (1900-2100)

•Nov 19 Beverley Memorial Hall – HU17 8HN (1900-2100)

•Nov 26 Bridlington School – YO16 4QU (1900-2100)

Chief Constable Justine Curran said: “We really want to explain what the changes will mean for residents living in Hull, The East Riding of Yorkshire, North and North East Lincolnshire.

“It is important that people get the chance to hear about their named officers and PCSOs in their communities, how we plan to put more response officers on the streets and how we will be using new technology to improve policing services.

“We also really want to hear your thoughts and concerns so we can address them face-to-face.

“This is a great opportunity to talk to me, my fellow Chief Officers, Matthew Grove and his colleagues about how we plan to meet your needs moving forward.

“We hope as many people as possible take the opportunity to pop along and see us”.
