The massive blaze, which has ripped through a scrap metal recycling plant in the Carr Hill area, has seen more than 40 firefighters battling huge flames and a gigantic plume of smoke which has been spotted from across Doncaster and South Yorkshire.
One Twitter user even said they could see the smoke from Grantham in Lincolnshire – approximately 50 miles away.

12 fire engines have been at the scene of the fire in Balby Carr Bank since 9.20pm last night.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the fire is at Morris Metals which has a yard alongside the East Coast Main Line on the J3 Business Park.
