Housebuilder's buyer incentives for 'blue Monday'

A housebuilder hopes a new range of buying incentives at a West Yorkshire site will help to lift the January blues for home seekers

Combining the miserable winter weather, post-Christmas finances, failing New Year’s resolutions and low motivational levels, Blue Monday, which falls today, is recorded as the most depressing day of the year.

However, Barratt Homes Yorkshire West aims to keep spirits high by launching buying incentives at its St Oswald’s View development in Methley. .As a pick-me-up to local residents, the housebuilder is offering to contribute £1,000 towards moving costs and reservation of a new home for £99, on selected plots reserved on or before 31st January 2018.

Interested buyers are also encouraged to take advantage of the Government’s popular Help to Buy scheme, which allows both first time buyers and existing homeowners to purchase with a five per cent deposit. The Part Exchange scheme is also available.

St Oswald’s View is a semi-rural development of three and four bedroom homes that are available to purchase from £224,995.
