Hospice funds boost thanks to Bentley widower
Roger Smith, 50, of Bentley, owner of Fencing 4U, raised a fantastic £366 for the appeal and in the past has also donated cash from his partner Cheryl’s funeral to the Balby-based hospice.
But his generosity does not end there as he has also replaced the hospice garden fencing, fitting it for free, meaning he donated £750 of his time.

Roger said: “When Cheryl was in the hospice the staff were so good. I keep wanting to do something to help. All of the staff are brilliant.”
