'Hope you are at peace:' Tributes as dad found dead at Doncaster beauty spot is named
Tributes have poured in for a dad who was found dead at a Doncaster beauty spot after he was named.
Police discovered the body of a man at Conisbrough Viaduct yesterday and an investigation has been launched. The man has been named locally on social media as Ian Grice, understood to be a dad of two.
Tributes have already been paid to Mr Grice following his death.
Natasha Louise Hunter wrote on Facebook: “RIP Ian. You left behind two kids, your wife/ex wife, your new girlfriend and all your family.
"I just wish you had gotten help for the sake of your kids but your demons took over. Hope you are now at peace big brother.”
Tasha Babiecakes Wilkes posted: “R.I.P BRO! We will do you proud love you!”
John Devine simply posted “RIP Ian” while Sarah Louise wrote: “Rip mate... I'm in absolutely shock.. just can't believe it...”
Debbie Culshaw wrote: “My condolences to all his friends and friends” and Sarah Marie Yates added: “How sad. Rip hope your at peace now.”
Mick Debenham added: “Rip Ian what a **** world we live in.”
South Yorkshire Police officers were dispatched to the viaduct yesterday morning.
Police have not formally released his identity and the force confirmed enquiries are still ongoing.
A spokemsna said: "Officers received a call at 10.58am on Monday, April 26, with reports that had a body had been found in the Conisbrough Viaduct.
"Officers attended and recovered the body of a man and enquiries are currently ongoing."
