A MUM-OF-THREE has set up her own business making special chairs for children with a hip condition.
Claire Bradwell, 27, developed the product after her two-year-old daughter Daisy was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and spent three months in a hip spica cast.
Claire had a visit from Dearne MP John Healey when she launched Hip Rocker Ltd from its new base at Century Business Centre, Manvers, on Friday.
She said: “I was reading my diary from when Daisy was in a hip spica cast and realised that there wasn’t anything on the British market that was affordable and child-friendly that a child in a hip spica cast could sit in safely.
“So I started to design the chair.”
