Station Hotel, Blaxton

Shaun Applegate nominated this particular watering hole and posted on Facebook: "The Station Hotel Blaxton...packed with drinkers and been one of the top places on Trip Advisor for food for nearly 2 years."

Reindeer Inn, Sandtoft

Natalie Dawn Wood said: "Prices are decent and food is good. I take my kids in the summer, but bet it's really cosy in the winter."

Stephen David Compton plumped for this pub, situated on the main road that runs through the village. He said: The Bay Horse in Hatfield is the best pub by far in Doncaster."

King William, Scaftworth

Lizzie Spencer was among a number who plumped for this countryside retreat: "How can you have missed The King William in Scaftworth?," she said. "Number 2 of best bars and pubs in Doncaster on Trip Advisor!"

Imperial Club, Mexborough

Nev Papworth was a big fan and said: "Brews beer on premises and wins awards for them too. Entertainment most nights. Recently remodelled and more to come. Whats NOT to like. Should be in any Top 5."

The Old Vault, Thorne

A new real ale pub in Thorne market place won the praise of drinker Matty Banks who wrote on Facebook: "The Old Vault in Thorne is a great new real ale pub out of town."
