A SUPPORT group which helps youngsters deal with living with diabetes has been relaunched in the borough.
Members of the Doncaster Diabetic Children’s Support Group met up at Astrabound in Wheatley Hall Road to mark the occasion.
There are plans to hold further meetings after Christmas, in particular during school holidays, to offer support and advice to families and their children who suffer from diabetes.
The group has been going for many years in the borough but has been relaunched following a change in personnel after member Philippa Cousins took over the running.
She said: “It’s a chance for families to get together and get the support they need to feel like there are not on their own.”
