Heatwave 2018: Doncaster to have hottest day of the year so far - this is how hot it will get

Temperatures will continue to rise during the course of the week and they look set to peak on Thursday.

Yesterday the Met Office issued a 'hot weather alert' which advises people to stay out of the sun during the middle of the day.

Here is the forecast for Doncaster for the next seven days:

Wednesday July 25: Sunny and dry with highs of 25C

Thursday July 26: Sunny and dry with highs of 30C

Friday July 27: Sunny but with the chance of thunderstorms. Highs of 27C

Saturday July 28: Sunny spells and highs of 23C

Sunday July 29: Sunny and dry with highs of 25C

Monday July 30: Sunshine and showers with highs of 23C

Tuesday July 31: Sunny spells and highs of 23C
