The Autone seat cushions have been on sale in the chain’s stores since October 2015 but have now been removed for sale.

The company says that there is a risk the product could overheat while in operation, leaving users at risk of harm.

It has asked anyone who purchased the heated seat cushion to return it to their nearest Asda store for a full refund. No receipt or packaging is necessary.
