PEOPLE who wear hearing aids are being encouraged to attend information drop-in sessions.
The sessions are run by Action on Hearing Loss, whose volunteers provide free one-to-one support to help people get the best performance out of their hearing aids.
Volunteers give tips on such things as how to replace tubing and batteries, as well as adjusting aids to make them more comfortable.
Sessions are held at Highfield Court, Fitzwilliam Street, Swinton, between 9.30am and 11am on the second Friday of every month.
They are also held at Rawmarsh Medical Surgery on Bellows Road, between 10am and 12 noon on the last Tuesday of every month.
For information about the drop-in sessions, contact Senior Community Support Officer for Action on Hearing Loss, Lorraine Briscoe, on 01709 514268 or e-mail email@example.com
